Old School Baseball

I found the idea for this shoot back in May, on Pinterest. As soon as I saw it I knew just who to ask to help me with it :)  So THANKFUL she agreed and her boys did too (along with my son).  The idea was to go with a back in the day baseball theme but when my friend saw one photo she said, "This reminds me of a cross between Little Rascals and Norman Rockwell!!"  After hearing that I have to agree :)  Here's a look at some of the fun we had!

We gave the boys Root Beer for doing such a GREAT job!!

NO child was hurt during this session!!

Down on the Farm

A friend of mine is wanting to learn how to shoot in manual setting and asked if I would help her.  I am by no means ready to teach people but she had an idea and just needed a few tips to get her going so I agreed (plus it sounded like a lot of fun).  She asked one of her sons & his girlfriend to be our models and even had a location she wanted to use.  BOY, did I score on this :)  "Z" & "J" were GREAT models and the location was amazing (happens to be "J's" family farm)!!  Here is just a peek of my photos from the shoot.

Workshop with Sarah-Beth Photography

At the end of July, I was lucky enough to attend another AMAZING workshop with Sarah-Beth Photography in Indy.  Sarah is nothing short of amazing!  She has such a love for what she does and is willing to share her knowledge with others.  This workshop focused on backlighting and family styled shooting.  I took TONS of photos and have shared some on facebook so I thought I would share some here too.
